ohcarlos: Lia Halloran, No One Has To Know (2009). (via iheartmyart) I don’t have words for the feelings this painting inspires.  It shifts in and out of focus- when I glance at it sidelong it seems almost photorealistic, but when I try to pin down details they slip away in a smear of pieces half-recalled, like coming out of a dream.  It is something like vertigo.
